• A desktop publishing career includes collecting materials to create new text or artwork, working with designers and writers to create new design elements and researching additional designs.
• This course is all about using computer applications and knowledge to create documents such as banners, cards, books, book covers, manuals, brochures etc. In short, it deals with the creation of such documents (their layout, design, graphics etc) and printing them. Knowledge about useful software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker and CorelDraw .
• Many graphics and image editing jobs are available for DTP course passed students. Publishing homes (newspapers, cards etc) also hire DTP professionals to help them out with layout, image editing and print related aspects.
• Multimedia technology is combination of text, graphics, sound, animation and video that is delivered interactive to the user by electronic device.

—Job opportunities : After completing the course one can get employment in computer base company or get self employed by opening a cyber cafe  shop , card base shop. 

—Wage employment: Can get employment as computer operator / photo editor/newspaper / sound editor /designers in computer company in govt. sector as well as  private sectors. can get employments as instructor in educational center.

— Self employment : can open his/her own shop  or can do data base  work at his/her own house or can take up orders work  from computer company.
